David urbanic zoomify5/2/2023 (I reference the original description usually, and often see specimens at museums too.) Was walking around the show with Stewart Brand and Peter Schwartz (both friends of mine) and they told him that everything was at life size, putting every species into proper relative scale. I exhibited my work in a butterfly show at the Harvard Natural History Museum (next to the Museum of Comparative Zoology and the glass flowers). (Her painting “Descendant” is on the cover of “The Future of Life” by the Pulitzer-winning biologist Edward O. Invasiveness, etc.) so I already had the background work done to put Zoomify to use. For an exhibit I did at the Yerba BuenaĬenter for the Arts in San Francisco, I made laminated cards with the keys, species lists and stories of some of the species illustrating various aspects of each of the subjects of the pictures (i.e., endangerment, Unfortunately, Zoomify has been bought out and bundled into someone else’s software package that I have not been able to track down. I bought it and have sinceīeen trying to update my site. I found the software for zooming into the keys and paintings on the Pierpont Morgan Library Web site. Kirkland’s work is displayed on in a way that allows visitors to zoom in and learn details of individual species with an elaborate key.) How did you come up with the zooming and keyed approach to showing your work on the Web?Ī. So I started out just to document some of the rare and exquisite things we happen to barely haveĪt this time and date in as permanent a form as possible, with a nod to a future that may NOT still have them. The inks we now use in printing are very transitory. The idea that digital platforms are stable is sort of laughable. …NASA would have to re-create all of the original science for another Moon shot (none of the hardware or software of the time was saved)…. You can still type to species many of the bugs and flowers. The Dutch still-life paintings from 1650-1720 are astoundingly accurate and well-preserved. At the end of the millennium, I started thinking about what might be here for the citizens of the world in 2, 3, or 400 years. What prompted you to focus your work on species’ comings and goings (and returns)? And why this particular style of painting?Ī. Of Dutch Masters memorializing nature’s rarest plants and animals, answered a few lingering questions by e-mail this morning, and her responses are worth sharing. Fpv backpack5/2/2023 Additionally, we prefer drones that come preprogrammed with cinematic autonomous-flight modes with the touch of a button, you can tell a drone to follow you while you snowboard down a mountain, say, or fly in a circle while filming for a dramatic selfie. Autonomous modes: Any video drone worth buying should have a fail-safe return-home mode that automatically brings the aircraft back to the launch point when you press a button or the drone loses contact with the controller. We prefer drone batteries that last at least 30 minutes, and we recommend that pilots pick up a few extras (the batteries are rechargeable) so that they can spend more time in the field flying. But a shorter flight time means fewer shots, shorter videos, and less flexibility. Long battery life: Longer-lasting batteries tend to be larger and weigh more, so manufacturers try to balance drone size with battery life.A three-axis gimbal is a general industry standard. Three-axis gimbal: A good gimbal, which stabilizes a camera attached to a drone with accelerometers and gyroscopes even when you are flying in wind or a jerky pattern, is essential if you want usable footage. We consider only those models that can shoot at least 12-megapixel photos and 4K video. High-quality camera: Generally, the more you pay for a photography drone, the better-quality camera you get. Some new drones even have the ability to track approaching airplanes and helicopters so you can avoid flying into their path. This technology removes so much stress from flying that we are willing to consider only those drones that, at the very least, can sense obstacles approaching from their front, back, and bottom. Crash-avoidance sensors: Sensors in drones have come a long way, and you can now find some models that can sense obstacles approaching in any direction and adjust their flight path to avoid a crash.A quadcopter shape (or alternatives, like hexacopters, that add more arms) makes for the most stable photo and video because such models can steadily hold their position in the air. Quadcopter design: Drones shaped like planes do exist, but they’re not as easy to fly as quadcopter models shaped like an X.And the Air 2S can go with you almost anywhere: At 7 by 3.8 by 3 inches folded and 1.3 pounds, it fits exceptionally well in our top pick for drone backpacks. Its 31-minute battery life is long enough for you to grab several shots before landing for a battery swap. This model also features DJI smart flight modes such as ActiveTrack, which directs the drone to autonomously follow and film a subject while also avoiding obstacles. It can also hold its position steadily, even in moderate winds (DJI says it’s safe to fly in winds up to 23.9 mph during our testing, the drone had no problem flying in 10 mph winds), so you can focus on your cinematography instead of having to worry about keeping the drone steady. The Air 2S can sense and avoid obstacles approaching from the front, back, top, and below, and it can alert you to approaching aircraft. Carry-on size and weight restrictions vary with different airlines and at different airports nationally and internationally. The DJI Air 2S package combines ease of flight with long battery life and a camera that can shoot 5.4K video (we recommend the Fly More Combo option because, among other things, it includes three rechargeable drone batteries). *** We highly recommend you check with your airline the legal carry-on allowance for both weight and size are prior to travel. Weight : 2.1 kg (depending on accessories used).Stows away inside bottom front pocket when not in use. Rain cover included to protect gear in inclement weather.Adjustable harness with air-channel, height adjustable sternum strap and a removable webbing waist belt allows travel into remote areas.Side pockets fit a small tripod or water bottles.Internal mesh pockets for tools and small accessories: rotor blades, screwdriver, cables, etc.Quick access top pocket for phone, wallet or sunglasses.External webbing daisy chains and buckles for easily attaching drones or even a small folding chair to the front of the bag.International and domestic carry on size compatible***.
Stock icons smash 4 mod5/2/2023 I'm also looking into getting multiple soundbanks working properly for the same character in a match and might be onto something. There's probably a fix, but I haven't found it yet. When you add a slot, for some reason the picture on the Mii CSS icon will change to Mario, but otherwise it works fine. If you want that slot to show up after the DLC characters, you will have to change name 10 to 1 in ui_character_db.bin as well as add and modify data in the dlc_param_f.bin found inside the eshop folder under param. Take any dummy slot in the param file and copy all of any regular fighter's name values over to it then change the cosmetic ID and character ID to whatever you want. To add new slots to the CSS (to make giga bowser and co playable or whatever) I noticed that a lot of characters that I wanted in Smash didn't have existing fan art of their stock icons, so I made my own. Setting name 9 on all three mii fighter slots to 1 will break the mii slots in general until you revert it.Įverything else is just random flags that don't serve any immediately obvious purpose. If you add another one while the page is open refresh it again.ĩ makes the slot not show up on the CSS if it's set to 1 Now goto file - refresh BGM files list for the plugin in sm4sh explorer and it will show up. Now put the file in the sm4sh explorer folder/workspace/content/sound/bgm. Rename file with a snd_bgm_ at start, and then anything after. No that you have a nus3bank file, you can now put it in a slot, first: Then download as Smash Bros Wii U - Stage (doesn't matter which as you're rename it later) You can get a song from a choosen game off here Now you can open the file, and click replace and select any wav. This is very easy and you will be given 2 options.Īnd then goahead and open any NUSbank file. We will use photoshop for this tutorial.īefore we add the slot, we need to first make a nus3bank file. Now that you opened your file, it may look normal, however you need to first swap the colors before editing anything. This will extract the dds in the output_dds folder., you can open it using a DDS plugin or convert to png with the DDS2PNG.bat though that won't for me. Open cmd in folder via Shift + Right click "Open command Window Here" Put those in folder along with the files you want to edit. !nII2jZhL!imJ_Zsho7BNhb8jpYUw2P1EkdkoHsZWTZrnMdC1cdtk Put them in the folder for the injector pack. (You can skip if you know)īattle Portraits (Used as portrait above stock icons, and results screen)Īnd last PAL is in (I could be wrong, don't own PAL version) Hopefully i can make it easier for everyone so i start seeing them more often! fans from around the world have come to discuss these great games in over 19 million posts You are currently viewing our boards as a visitor.
